  • Earned a joint JD/MBA from the program at Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School in 2022

Life, work, and accomplishments:

  • Political correspondent for Vogue Magazine starting in July 2024, writing on the current election cycle
  • Passed the New York State bar exam in April 2023
  • Worked at Rakuten after Yale, having met the CEO when accompanying his mother, the Ambassador to Japan. After that, he worked as a staff assistant in the Bureau of Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs, a part of the State Department, and at Suntory Holdings, a Japanese brewing company.
  • Strong voice to Gen Z and other young people, where he reaches them on TikTok and other platforms to not only share entertaining content regarding his passion for paddlesports and musical theatre, but to help educate new voters. Jack hopes to break down the political scene to be understandable and more friendly to first-time young voters
  • Also known for his insightful but very cheeky takes on certain political events and figures, as he uses memes to advocate for the Democratic Party
  • Jack has an interest and ambition for politics, but is currently most involved in public service over a purely political career
