MUSEUM EXHIBITS

MUSEUM EXHIBITS

Supported through our ANNUAL FUND, museum exhibits honor the life and legacy of President Kennedy and his family. They open a window on the days JFK spent on Cape Cod – days relaxing with family and days as President of the United States when the Cape provided a time to be reinvigorated – and relate his ideals about civil rights, public service, and civic-mindedness.

CIVIC EDUCATION

CIVIC EDUCATION

Civic Education Programming is motivating the next generation of engaged citizens. At the heart of our mission, these programs are based on President Kennedy’s legacy – offering age-appropriate experiences and infusing critical thinking skills. Programs for students with barriers that make their education more challenging – including low income, differently abled, and ESL – are a core focus. All programs are free of charge. An average of 3,000 students participate annually.

Your support is vital to the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum. Without it, we could not accomplish our mission – to preserve and promote the legacy of President Kennedy, his family and their deep connection to Cape Cod. Your gift celebrates this legacy through:

✓ Engaging museum exhibits that preserve and promote the legacy of President Kennedy, relating his ideals about civil rights, public service and civic mindedness
✓ Enriching civics education curricula that motivates the next generation of engaged citizens
✓ Dynamic cultural programming that inspires and encourages positive discourse
✓ Modernization to ensure the Museum remains relevant and sustainable for today and generations

Current national, local and global realities have brought the relevancy of JFK’s legacy to new levels. We hear regularly from visitors that museum exhibits and programs are an inspiration, offering hope. The content we share has made the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum a trusted resource and valued part of the community.

Because of you, we’re bringing together thousands of people with different perspectives – at the Museum, in the community and in classrooms across Cape Cod and the Islands – to listen thoughtfully, dialogue respectfully and think critically.
