Now open at the JFK Hyannis Museum on Main Street in Hyannis is a new exhibit devoted to the life of John F. Kennedy Jr., a modest yet poignant history that explores his public connection and also marks the 20th anniversary of his death.
Curated by Rebecca Pierce-Merrick, the museum’s director emeritus, the exhibit subtly conveys Cape Cod’s very personal connection to the Kennedys. “Though gone for 20 years, John Kennedy Jr. still captures our imagination and touches our hearts,” Pierce-Merrick said at the museum. Focusing on the time JFK Jr. spent on the Cape, “the exhibit gives a sense of his childhood and a deeper understanding of his adult life.”
