The museum is following the Massachusetts Sector Specific Workplace Safety Standards for Museums and Cultural and Historical Facilities and Guided Tours to Address COVID-19 as of July 2, 2020. Equipment and protocols have been put in place to maximize the safety of the museum’s staff and visitors. The museum will be professionally cleaned daily with ongoing attention to maintenance of high traffic areas.

Following the Massachusetts Reopening Guidelines, The Museum has instituted the following policies:

  • Tickets Should Be Purchased Online.
  • Visitors Are Required to Check in at the Admissions Counter for Capacity Control and Contact Tracing
  • Please have paper tickets, mobile tickets, or membership cards available upon arrival at the admission counter.
  • All admission tickets are date and time specific and non-refundable.
  • Limits on Daily Admissions Are in Place.
  • The museum is following the state guideline of 8 people per 1,000 square feet.
  • Staff and Visitors Must Adhere to Social Distancing Protocols.
  • Visitors not from the same group will maintain at least six feet between individuals. Follow directional signage in the museum .
  • Face Coverings Are Required for All Staff and Visitors.
  • Visitors are required to wear face coverings when entering the museum.
  • Hand-Sanitizing Stations Are Located throughout the Museum.
  • The museum encourages frequent use of these sanitizing stations.
