Join us at the JFK Hyannis Museum as we host Elizabeth York, Executive Director of the Cape Cod Maritime Museum.

Elizabeth York will present a talk on PT boats, and PT 109, the naval patrol boat skippered by John F. Kennedy in World War II.

Elizabeth York is an Ithaca College graduate with a master’s in Collections Management from John F. Kennedy University and has also served as Director of Collections at Battleship Cove in Fall River.

The Cape Cod Maritime Museum is devoted to maritime culture of Cape Cod. The museum houses rotating exhibits focused on maritime art, culture, and history, as well as marine biology and ecology. CCMM also displays the largest publicly displayed scrimshaw collection on the Cape and has a working wooden boat shop where Cape style boats are built and restored.

$15 per person, Free for Members (Become a member here!), Includes light refreshments, Hosted at the JFK Hyannis Museum in the Scudder Family Center for Civic Engagement.
