Join us at the JFK Hyannis Museum as we host Elizabeth York, Executive Director of the Cape Cod Maritime Museum.

Elizabeth York will present a talk on PT boats, and PT 109, the naval patrol boat skippered by John F. Kennedy in World War II.

Elizabeth York is a Ithica College graduate with a master’s in Collections Management from John F. Kennedy University and has also served as director of Collections at Battleship Cove in Fall River.

The Cape Cod Maritime Museum is a devoted to maritime culture on Cape Cod. The museum houses a rotating collection of maritime art, featuring world renowned artist John Stobart. CCMM also displays the largest publicly displayed scrimshaw collection on the Cape and has a primary exhibit that examines the impact local workers have had on the craft of boat building.

$15 per person, Free for Members (Become a member here!), Includes light refreshments, Hosted at the JFK Hyannis Museum in the Scudder Family Center for Civic Engagement.
