Join the Cape Cod Speaker Series, in partnership with the JFK Hyannis Museum, for an evening with David Rubenstein, who will share a thoughtful and engaging reflection on America’s 250th anniversary, weaving together history and insights on leadership, service, and the enduring principles that inspire purposeful leadership.
As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, few people are better positioned to reflect on our nation’s history, leadership, and future than David Rubenstein.
Most people know Rubenstein as the co-founder and co-chairman of The Carlyle Group. But that’s only part of the story. He is also a philanthropist, historian, author, recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and one of the nation’s leading advocates for preserving America’s founding documents and historical treasures.
Drawing on his lifelong interest in American history and public service, Rubenstein will explore the ideals that shaped our nation and what they can teach us about leadership today.
The evening will be moderated by The Honorable Anthony R. Foxx, former U.S. Secretary of Transportation and Director of Harvard Kennedy School’s Center for Public Leadership.
