Join us on Saturday April 8th 10-12pm for JFK 100 Centennial Touch Football Games on the Barnstable Village Green and Asleton Park in Hyannis
Touch football games will be held across Massachusetts on April 8th in recognition of President Kennedy’s love of the sport and commitment to physical fitness as exemplified through legislation he signed enacting the Presidential Physical Fitness Initiative. In honor of our 35th President, and with a nod to the Kennedy family’s well-documented love of touch football, The John F. Kennedy Museum will be participating by coordinating touch football games on the Barnstable Village Green and Asleton Park. These are simply nonpartisan, low key, fun games. All ages and abilities are welcome.
Reserve your team of 10 players today!
All teams that sign up in advance will receive t-shirts, rules of the game and a JFK coin for the coin toss! There is a suggested donation of $100 per 10-player team. The $100 fee will be waived for student teams who need assistance. A registration table will be available 9:30am at the Barnstable Village Green.
Fund raised through the Centennial Touch Football Games will support the Kennedy Library’s free education programming for public school students in high need districts.
