Through storytelling and her original poetry, guest speaker Robin Joyce Miller will bring her exhibit, A Sankofa Journey: The African in America, to life. This stunning mixed-media artwork exhibit is on display at the JFK Hyannis Museum through June.
Known for her masterful mixed media creations, Miller weaves together paper, fabric, paint, threads, beads, and stone to explore African American heritage themes.

About The Artist
Robin Joyce Miller is a retired New York City educator and a current trustee at Cotuit Center for the Arts. Renowned as the Art Educator of the Year in 2007, her journey from educator to accomplished artist is inspiring. Throughout her tenure in the New York City public school system, Ms. Miller passionately served as an arts educator and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion advocate, leaving an indelible mark on the intersection of education and the arts.
