John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum Foundation presents an evening with Andrew, award-winning journalist and bestselling author. Andrew Cohen will be discussing his acclaimed book Two Days in June: JFK and the 48 Hours That Made History. Books will be available for purchase before the lecture.
The event will be held at the Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis, from 6:30-8:00pm.
Two Days in June features an hour-by-hour account of the two days as Kennedy gives a speech appealing to Americans to see the humanity of the Russians on June 10—which led to the Limited Nuclear Test Ban Treaty of 1963—followed by a speech against segregation in the South on June 11, which paved the way for the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
