Presidential Summers: The Kennedys on Cape Cod
For JFK weekends on Cape Cod meant renewal, inspiration and fun family times. See archival video, special family images, fascinating artifacts and more at this new long-term exhibit. Exhibit Highlights: Kennedy Compound, To Wake as President, Sailing the Victura and more.
“We Remember John F. Kennedy, Jr.”
Set in thematic arrangements, “We Remember JFK Jr.” features extraordinary images (some seldom seen) of John Jr. alone, or with his father, mother, sister and wife. Through video, photographs, quotes, text and artifacts, this commemorative exhibit invites visitors to remember John F. Kennedy Jr. who, like his father, had every gift but length of years.
RFK: Ripple of Hope:
The return of a special exhibit to commemorate the life and legacy of Robert Kennedy. The exhibit begins with RFK’s early years in the Kennedy family, including rarely seen images of his time on Cape Cod, 45 images and excerpts from RFK’s speeches, and an eight-minute video narrated by Kathleen Kennedy and former Congressman Joe Kennedy III.

JFK Hyannis Museum Names 2026 Scholarship Recipient
The John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum is proud to announce Sebastian Verslycke of Falmouth as the recipient of its 2026 scholarship, receiving a $2,500 award in recognition of his winning essay exploring the ways President John F. Kennedy has inspired him.
“We are thrilled to help further Sebastian’s scholastic endeavors as he heads into the next exciting chapter of his education,” said Wendy Northcross, Executive Director of the JFK Hyannis Museum. “His winning essay clearly illustrated not only his articulate vision, but also the thoughtful and meaningful ways that President Kennedy has inspired him.”

JFK Hyannis Museum Joins the Cape Cod Maritime Museum in Bringing a New Nautical Addition to Main Street, Hyannis
The two museums honor Cape Cod’s maritime traditions with a new Bevin’s Skiff
Hyannis, MA, July 28, 2026 – There is a new addition to the courtyard of the John F. Kennedy Museum—a 12-foot “Bevin’s Skiff.” The specially designed flat-bottomed wooden rowboat prized for its simple, beginner-friendly design, was created through the Cape Cod Maritime Museum’s “Youth Boatbuilding” program. Joseph Caiazzo and Robert Sullivan Join Museum Board
The JFK Hyannis Museum is pleased to announce the appointment of Joseph P. Caiazzo and Robert F. Sullivan to its Board of Directors.
Caiazzo brings more than 15 years of experience in politics, public affairs and strategic consulting. Sullivan, the former mayor of Brockton, brings decades of civic leadership along with a lifelong connection to Cape Cod.

John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum Appoints New Associate Executive Director
The JFK Hyannis Museum is pleased to announce the appointment of John P. Gibbons as our new Associate Executive Director.
John brings more than 20 years of experience in international museum leadership and community outreach, including more than 16 years at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. In his new role, he will provide operational leadership across the museum and help guide its continued growth, programming, and community engagement.
