The sea and shores of Hyannis Port inspired our 35th President like no other place on earth.

On May 17th the Foundation debuted our new Speaker Series with a reception at the
JFK Hyannis Museum honoring our first guest speaker Senator Paul G. Kirk, Jr. and his
wife Gail.

The Series is designed to bring accomplished people to share their experiences,
primarily in public service, with our Cape Cod community in 90-minutes of
conversation and observation.

Over 75 people attended and then all walked down Main Street on a lovely evening to
join over 100 others already gathered at Fellowship Hall of the Hyannis Federated
Church.

Senator Kirk spoke about his five months in the United States Senate as the
appointed successor to his pal Senator Ted Kennedy.
He then entertained questions from host Rob Sennott, board president of the
Foundation, and members of the audience. Covering a wide range of subjects.

Comcast Business Services sponsors the Speaker Series.

Sailing with the Kennedys: Jack and Ted and the Boats They Loved

This seasonal exhibit will contain photographic images of the two brothers and other family and friends sailing the Victura, as well as Ted and family sailing the Maya.  The images will be sourced from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library, The Cape Cod Times, and the Private Kennedy Family Collection.  Text panels will tell the story of their love of sailing- both recreational and competitive.

This special exhibit will be launched on Memorial Day Weekend and will run through late September.
