RECAP: "REMEMBERING THE SIXTIES" LECTURE WITH SERGEI KHRUSHCHEV

Last Wednesday night, the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum staff and honored guest Dr. Sergei Khrushchev traveled to Nantucket to greet his audience. Prior to the lecture, preferred seating ticketholders had the opportunity to have a meet and greet session with Khrushchev at a private reception in the scenic Harborview Room in the Dreamland Theater.

Dr. Khrushchev is currently a Senior Fellow at the Watson Institute of International Studies at Brown University. During the evening’s interview with Moderator Rob Sennott, Khrushchev discussed the history of the Soviet missile and space programs, in which he played an active role during the Cold War.  Khrushchev also gave a unique perspective into the intense and historic relationship between his father Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev and John F. Kennedy during his years as President.
