Please join us at the Chatham Orpheum Theater on September 14th for a screening of Sergei Khrushchev’s July 20th lecture.   

Sergei imageDr. Khrushchev, Author, Educator, Lecturer and Son of the Late Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev, offered his rare insights into the intense and historic relationship between his father Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev and John F. Kennedy during his years as President. Dr. Khrushchev also shared details of the Cuban Missile Crisis when the world found itself on the brink of nuclear war.

About Dr. Khrushchev

Dr. Khrushchev, a Senior Fellow at the Watson Institute of International Studies at Brown University, will also discuss the history of the Soviet missile and space programs, in which he played an active role during the Cold War. From there he will provide guests with a unique view into modern Russia as it has transitioned back most recently from a decentralized society into an emerging super power and what that means for security concerns around the globe.
