THE JFK HYANNIS MUSEUM PRESENTS AN EVENING WITH DR. SERGEI KHRUSHCHEV

Sergei imageDr. Khrushchev, Author, Educator, Lecturer and Son of the Late Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev,  will offer his rare insights into the intense and historic relationship between his father Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev and John F. Kennedy during his years as President.  Dr. Khrushchev will share details of the Cuban Missile Crisis when the world found itself on the brink of nuclear war.

There will be a moderated discussion followed by an open question and answer period. Moderator: Peter Ubertaccio from Stonehill College. Associate Dean of Interdisciplinary Programs, Associate Professor of Political Science, Director, Martin Institute for Law & Society.



$50 Tickets Include :
5:30-6:30PM: Reception at the JFK Hyannis Museum with Sergei Khrushchev in attendance. Tickets will include VIP seating at the Cape Cod Resort in Hyannis for the lecture at 7:00PM.
$25 Tickets Include:
7:00-8:30PM: Lecture & Discussion at the Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis. General seating only.

About Dr. Khrushchev

Dr. Khrushchev, a Senior Fellow at the Watson Institute of International Studies at Brown University, will also discuss the history of the Soviet missile and space programs, in which he played an active role during the Cold War. From there he will provide guests with a unique view into modern Russia as it has transitioned back most recently from a decentralized society into an emerging super power and what that means for security concerns around the globe.
