STUDENTS & TEACHERS WILL MAKE HISTORY BY SIMULTANEOUSLY SINGING OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM ON SEPTEMBER 9, 2016
At 1pm, America’s students will sing the National Anthem in unison, joining together in pride, patriotism and song at venues all over the country.
The John F. Kennedy Museum will be hosting and participating in this event starting at 12:00pm. The Barnstable High School Choir will also participate. All visitors are welcome to come visit the museum and participate for free!
Founded in 2013, the APEF organized this movement as a way to instill an understanding and celebration in the famous words written by Francis Scott Key. Starting with just ten schools, this sing-along has rapidly grown into a national event. There will be a live stream of 1,500 students at Fort McHenry, the birthplace of the National Anthem, that can be found by clicking here during the event.
